Lester Shaw of Culpeper was a guest Friday evening of James Menefee. Later in the evening they had dinner at the Golden Chinese Restaurant in Front Royal.

Mrs. Barbara Gentry and Mrs. Dorothy Atkins attended a seminar on aging Wednesday at James Madison University in Harrisonburg. Mrs. Gentry attended an AARP training meeting in Edinburg Monday.

Mrs. Paul Miller entertained the Flint Hill Bridge Club at her home on Monday. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. W. A. Moore, Mrs. Robert Eastham, Mrs. James Massie, Mrs. Frank Spalding and Mrs. Richard Latham.

Others playing were Mrs. Thomas Eastham, Mrs. Emory Russell and Mrs. Thomas Massie.

Mrs. Paul Miller spent the weekend with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Howell and family at Madison Heights.
