On behalf of Mr. Schafer, attorney David Konick, former zoning administrator for the county, has sought certain documents relating to the landfill on the Clark property under Virginia’s Freedom of Information Act.

He complained at Monday’s meeting that the information he requested had not been supplied and farther, could not be found in the county’s file on the landfill.

“The lease belongs to Community Trash (the company that maintains and empties the dumpsters and holds the landfill permit jointly wnth Mr. Clark),” countered Supervisor Estes. “We own no landfill. We have no liability insurance on a landfill. We have nothing to do with the landfill!

“We have nothing to send you!”
