The regular business of the

Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors was conducted Thursday following the annual road hearing. The agenda included livestock claims, dumping and refuse, and additional personnel for the sheriffs department. The board approved the erection of signs at the portable dumping units stating that they were for use of county residents only.

Red Oak Sailor, a foxhound owned by Clifton Clark of Woodville, placed seventh in high general average at the field trials held April 5 and 6 in South Hill. A total of 181 hounds were entered in the two-night competition and only 20 hounds finished.
