Republicans
Hysterical
To the Editor:
The Republican Party of Rappahannock County seems to be suffering from acute hysteria.
As a middle of the road voter, I was shocked by the document they sent us with our last Rappahannock News. I read it all. Hysteria leads them to tell me, among other things, that my vote for Senator is about the President. Wrong. My Senator is my Senator. I want him to represent me „ in the Senate no matter who is President.
The Republican Party is shouting slogans at us, slogans meant to produce fear, confusion, and misinformation. Is that the voice I want? No, it is not.
And as for the Republican candidate, he’s not worth mentioning. No wonder they take such a nasty tone to lecture us, and vilify reasonable people who may want to vote for a . rational candidate, the Democrat.
