The AmissviUe Rurtian Club will • hold its annual pit-cooked beef barbecue dinner from 1-6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22 at Stuart Field in the Ruritan Building on U.S. 211.

Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children.

Also on the Ruritan grounds that day will be yard sales, crafts, and flea market. To reserve your space for only $5, call Lorraine Early at 937-5600 or 800-870-9098 (Early’s Carpet).

The Ruritans dinner, dance and raffle will be held Saturday, Nov. 26 at the Fauquier Springs Country Club oh Route 802 between Jeffersonton and Warrenton.

The meal will be prime rib with all the trimmings. Music Will be provided by Pure Country, the local Jolliffe Brothers’ Band. The grand raffle price is $5,000 (only 150 ticket to be sold).

Cost is $110 per couple. The community’s participation in these important fundraisers to complete the Ruritan building is greatly appreciated.
