Welby Lynn and Matthew Kravitz, members of the graduating class of 1995 at Wakefield Country Day School, have been named as commended students in the 1995 National Merit Scholarship Program.

A letter of commendation was presented to each of the honored students at the school assembly on Wednesday, Oct. 12 by Head of the School, Malcolm Schantz. Commended students placed among the top five percent of the more than one million students who entered the 1995 Merit Program.

Miss Lynn, the daughter of Mrs. William E. Lynn, Jr. of Washington, has attended Wakefield Country School for 13 years and is a talented artist, writer and pianist, winning the William E. Lynn Academic Award for the past three years. She will pursue a college degree in the classics.
