According to Bell Atlantic area manger Bill Brown, he advised me on Monday that the effective date for this service will be Dec. 1. Notices will go out with the November bills.
Amissville Baptist begins revival services Sunday, Oct. 23 with Rev. David Pouchot. He will speak in the morning service at 11 a.m. A covered dish dinner will follow. Sunday evening’s service begins at 6 p.m. Monday through Friday services begin at 7 p.m. A nursery will be provided. Pastor Everett welcomes everyone.
It’s apple butter time again. Amissville United Methodist prepared 29 gallons and one pint on Saturday. Special thanks to the United Methoidst Women and the church for all their help, including those who peeled the apples on Friday. Pints are selling for $3.50 and quarts $6.
