4-H Junior Garden Club Meeting
The 4-H Junior Garden Club will meet from 3:30-5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 24 at the Rappahannock Extension Office. Mrs. Lois Snead will teach a lesson on making a dried flower arrangements.
The 4-H Junior Garden Club is for youth ages 9-13 who are interested in gardening, flower arranging, nature, and related topics. For information call Carolyn Emerick, 4-H leader, at 675-3575 or the Extneison Office at 675-3619.

Winter Festival Fashion Show
The Rappahannock/Culpeper Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa, an international honorary sorority for women educators, is sponsoring a “Winter Festival” fashion show at Precious Blood Catholic Church Parish Hall at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6.
Brass Buttons and The First Years in Culpeper are providing the women’s and children’s fashions. Proceeds will be used to award scholarship at both Culpeper and Rappahannock High Schools.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets may be purchased from any sorority member or at the door. For more information call Deborah Finchum at 937-3068.
Babysitting Course Offered
An American Red Cross Babysitting course will be held from 9 a.m.to 5 p.m. on Satuday, Oct. 22.
This course teaches how to handle energencies, illness, and when the child is upset. The student learns how to prevent accident, what to expect from parents, and how to feed, play with and care for youngsters. Recommended for students in grade 5 through 12. 4-H Achievement Program *
The 1994 4-H Achievement Awards Program for the 1993-94 year will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23 at Rappahannock County High School Auditorium. Parents, families and the public are invited.
