Peter Hombostal was born in New York, graduated with honors from Brown University in international relations and was a mber of the Columbia Law Review. After graduate work as a Fulbright Fellow in Vienna, Austria, Mr. Hombostel clerked for a New York U.S. Court of Appeals Judge.
Besides the private practice of law, Mr. Hornbostel has worked in Brazil in the USAID mission and served as attorney in the Latin American Bureau of AID at the State Department in Washington, D.C.
Peter Hombostel is fluent in Portuguese, German and Spanish. His current practice takes him to Brazil frequently and makes him probably one of the most knowledgeable American citizens on Brazilian affairs. Locally, he is the Chairman of the Board of Ki Theatre and appeared in Ki Theatre’s Christmas pagent productions.
