Ms. van Dort almost backed out as a volunteer for the greens, but consented to work with only Tom Zumwalt regarding the greenery. The Town Council voted to reinstate their celebrations fund and put in $1,500 for Colonial Christmas. ,
Ms. Richey said that the Business Council spends a great deal of money for postage and printing and asked if the Town Council could help them with costs. Mr. Zumwalt said; “If the town is going to advertise the town, separate from the businesses, we might entertain the possibility of paying postage or something if the council would agree.”
Mayor Willis asked Ms. Richey to prepare a proposal for Treasurer Zumwalt after their next meeting, which is to be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Flint Hill Public House Tuesday, Oct. 25.
