Plans for Colonial Christmas weekend, to be held on Dec. 3 and 4, were discussed at last week’s Town Council weekend.

Tanya Richey, president of the Washington Business Council, told the council that her organization, which met at the Flint Hill Public " House on Oct. 11, would like to do the publicity and advertising for Colonial Christmas. “We will promote the colonial nature of the town and events taking place,” she said.

She added that local businesses would be emphasized in the advertising, and that the only thing the business council needs is information about what is happening for Colonial Christmas so they can put it in the promotional material. The Washington Business Council has for several * years produced a brochure about Washington.
