R.C. Leake, Sr.
Mr. Raymond Clyde Leake Sr., 67, of Boston died on Friday, Oct. 14 at the University of Virginia Hospital.
He was bom in Rappahannock County on Jan. 25,1927.
He was retired from the State Highway Department.
His parents were the late William and Vinie Leake.
Survivors include his wife, Mamie Leake of Boston; one son, Raymond C. Leake Jr. of Culpeper, two daughters, Rose Smith of Madison and Mamie Johannis of Reva; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Also surviving are two sisters, Ruth Meade of Jeffersonton and Shirley May of Culpeper and two brothers, Jimmy Leake of Culpeper and Bill Leake of Orange.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 17 at Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper with the Rev. Harold Eaton officiating.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery. ,
