Benefit Bake Sale

Horse and Pony Club To Meet

The 4-H Horse and Pony Club will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at the Extension Office. An orientation for new members will be given. Beekeepers To Meet

The Northern Piedmont Beekeepers Association will hold its meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20 at the Culpeper Cooperative Extension Service building, at the corner of South West Street and Davis Street.

The program will feature working with the Africanized bee in Brazil and Late Fall/Early Winter Management. All are welcome: prospective beekeepers, new beekeepers and experienced beekeepers. For further information contact Ann Harman at 364-4660.

Halloween Party Planned

Ham and Turkey Dinner

A ham and turkey dinner will be held at Amissville fire hall from 5-8 p.m. on Nov. 12. The dinner includes ham, turkey, trimmings, dessert and beverage and will cost $8 for adults, $4 for children and children under four are free. For more information call 937-5125.

Haunted House Planned

The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department will have their annual haunted house from 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. Admission is $1 per person. For more information call Connie Huff-Harris at 6753389.

Hay Rides, Bonfire

Haunted hay rides and a bonfire will be held at Mountain Green Farm from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. Proceeds will benefit the Piedmont United Way. Advance tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for children over one. Tickets at the gate will be $6 for adults and $3 for children over one. Call 675-3237 for tickets or information.
