Navy Award
Navy Airman Tony W. Atkins, son of Mahlon W. and Alice E. Atkins of Sperryville was recently selected as Sailor of the Quarter with Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron 14, Naval Air Station, Norfolk.
Atkins was chosen as the top performer from among all the sailors assigned to the command and was cited for outstanding professional accomplishment.
The 1990 graduate of Rappahannock County High School joined the Navy in April, 1992.
