The Rappahannock County 4-H Program is growing stronger every year. Enrollment in the 2000-2001 4-H year was 250+ members!
For this new 4-H year of 2001-2002, we have 22 4-H Clubs that meet monthly. Some clubs, such as the 4-H Shooting Education Club, meet more frequently.
This particular club meets every week and is learning safety from the National Rifle Association guidelines. The club is desperately looking for an indoor location to shoot air rifles this winter.
They are also looking at the possibility of renting an electronic rifle range, but this equipment costs a great deal. Any help the community can give this active 4-H club would be greatly appreciated.
The Flint Hill 4-H Community Club is under the leadership of Shannon Swain. Shannon was a den leader for che cub scouts for four years and brings experience and much excitement to the Flint
