On Sept. 22 Virginia Cooperative Extension in partnership with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services conducted a pesticide disposal program in Rappahannock County.
The Pesticide Disposal Program provides for the safe and proper disposal of unwanted, outdated, or banned pesticides. The program, which is free for participants, is funded through licensing, certification, and pesticide product registration fees collected by VDACS’ Office of Pesticide Services.
