These opinions ranged widely, from outright rejection of any towers to the desire for more and larger facilities, but most reflected approval of the monopoles and disapproval of the “stealth" silos and of the degradation of the viewshed that many of the speakers expected would result from their construction.
One new voice was that of Newbill Miller. Mr. Miller spoke during the hearing on the “Rose Hill Silo" and provided a counterpoint to the many who opposed the silos as being “industrial” and “out of proportion."
