They purchased 166 acres in Flint Hill in 1902 and thq house was completed in 1917 as a home for George and Mattie anld their four children, Frank, Gharles, Edith and Robert.
Charles E. Bowling Sr. and his wife Estelle made their home here with their one child, Charles E. Bowling Jr. George remained here with them until his death in 1962. Estelle Bowling died in 1967, and Charles Jr. was killed in a fatal car
