During the daytime session of the Board of Supervisors meeting. School Superintendent Dr. David Gangel requested and received approval for a supplemental appropriation of $342,423.59. This appropriation, said Dr. Gangel, is due to final funding figures from the Federal and State governments and to reflect monies received or expected from grants and fees that were only estimated when this fiscal year’s funding was appropriated last spring.
