first wall. For those of you who have used it, you already know what we learned: a sponge is not the most precise instrument to use when you’re trying to delicately cut a straight line at the top of a wall. A rock would be more exacting.
So naturally, we got some of the Mediterranean Blue on the ceiling.
At first we thought that we’d paint the whole ceiling blue and then do some clouds or something, so that it would look like we were sleeping in the sky. In retrospect, I think that we must have been sniffing too many paint fumes.
And we were tired. My shoulders and back were aching.
