Balloon Testing:
Miller Silo and Huntly Silo
In compliance with a condition imposed by the Rappahannock County Planning Commission, Sprint PCS will cause to have placed approx. 6’ diameter weather balloons at the sites and at the uppermost heights of the proposed Miller Silo near Washington, Virginia (PWSF#01-08-05) and at the proposed Huntly Silo near the intersection of U.S. Rt. 522 and Rt. 662 on Huntly (PWSF#0108-07).
The balloons will be placed on Friday, October 5 and will remain in place through Saturday, October 6, so that anyone may observe them. It is expected that the balloons will be placed no later than 12:00 noon on Friday. Should inclement weather render the balloon test unsafe, the balloons will be placed on October 12 & 13, instead.
