Mushroom workshop plan ned

A wild mushroom weekend workshop with “Wildman” Steve Brill, New York's best known naturalist will be held on Saturday and/or Sunday, Oct. 6 and 7 from 9:30 a m. to 4:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by Dreamtime Center For Herbal Studies and will be held on Sunnyside Orchard Farm.

Warner “rocks” in Culpeper

Gubernatorial candidate Mark Warner will be at Courthouse Square in Culpeper on Friday evening, Oct. 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. for a picnic and rally. Rappahannock voters are invited to join in the fun for an evening which has all the makings of a great political event: music from the local band, “Alter Ego,” lots of non-gourmet food, no admission fee, and Mark Warner speaking on issues important to all Virginians. Heritage Day scheduled

To commemorate the opening of the new Battle of Front Royal Driving Tour the Warren Rifles Chapter, UDC and the Col. John S. Mosby Camp, SCV are proud to host a Living History Day. The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13 and is open to the public with no admission fee.
