Dragons came back this week with a strong 3-1 victory over the Orange team. The defense lead the team, with sweeper Chris Nugent stopping several hard shots from close in. Fullbacks Gavin Forrest and Keenan Sherwood also helped hold Orange to one “lucky” goal, even when they played the whole team on offense at the end.
The players are coming together as a team after more practice and with great support from the community. Go Green Dragons!
The U-14 “Riot” went on the road Saturday to Madison to face Coach Puryear’s team. The first half was dominated by Riot’s ball control and tough defense. With assists from Patrick Treanor and Rhonda Jackson, both Carlos Flores • and Chris Harris found the ■ net to keep “Riot” up 0 - 2 at the half.
