A Pumpkin Carving Contest is being sponsored by the 4-H Adult Leaders’ Association. Bring your carved pumpkin to the front of the Washington Arts Building on Gay Street (location of the Extension Office) between 5 and 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 31.
Carved pumpkins will be judged in the following age divisions: 5-8 years, 9-12 years, 13-16 years, and 17 years and older. Categories in the divisions will be the scariest, the funniest, and the most original pumpkin. Winning pumpkins will receive a ribbon, and recipients will receive a special “sweet” surprise.
Holiday Fundraiser - To assist in making your holiday happier and less stressful, 4H members and adults are offering to wrap your holiday gifts. Gifts should be brought to the Extension Office on Gay Street in Washington, along with a list of the items
