June Jordan’s Packing Shed Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of its new exhibit, “Burrows and Bearings” featuring oil paintings by Nora Harrington and etchings by Heather Self. The exhibit will be in place for the month of October.
The artists’ reception will be on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. Live jazz and traditional music will be played by “Common Ground” during the reception.
Both emerging artists are residents of Rappahannock County and have been practicing their respective art forms for nearly a decade.
Packing Shed Gallery is located on the comer of Gay and Porter Streets in Washington. The Gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12:30 to 6 p.m. For more information call 6753410.
