So, again, over a period of three days I applied three coats of finish over my new floor, lightly sanding between coats.
When applying the finish, it’s imperative to let the polyurethane dry completely before even tip-toeing on it. I learned the hard way that even kitten prints show up if the little ones are allowed to walk on a floor that may look dry but is still a bit sticky.
After the final coat of polyurethane goes on, it must diy for three days before furniture should be set back in place.
