scoreless first half, first year player Meredith Reeve opened the scoring. Meredith showed great natural ability as a forward, passing and advancing the ball.
Marcella Wallace scored the second goal on a hard angle shot, but then Culpeper roared back with three straight goals. A penalty kick by Marcella tied the game. We almost won the game in a wild scramble in front of Culpeper’s goal, but the ball sailed over the crossbar and out of play.
Sarah Hazel played another solid game at midfield supporting the forwards and being our first line of defense.
