We, Virginians have
er\joyed tax relief with Governor Gilmore’s phased elimination of the car tax, the phasing down of the food tax, the cut in income taxes on listed military personnel, on non-prescription drugs and the elimination of tax on social security.
Now, the liberal Democrat who is the candidate for Governor opposes the elimination of the hated, confiscatory tax. Instead, he has expressed a willingness for us to pay more than $900,000,000 in new taxes, by keeping the car tax in force.
