Susan Scott Wright, 45, of Amissville died on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
She was born on July 13, 1956 in Fauquier County.
She received her B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Maryland and retired from the U.S.D.A. Natural Resource Conservation Service. She was an avid horsewoman and a breeder of exotic cats. She attended Christ Anglican Church in Warrenton.
Survivors include one sister, Heningham Calloway; one niece, Hallie Calloway; one great-uncle, William Rixey and many dear friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Robert Eden Scott V and her mother, Jane Claunch Scott.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 11 a.m. at Moser Funeral Home Chapel in Warrenton with the Rev. Alexander Darby officiating.
