The Rappahannock County School Bands are off and marching!
Hosting a day-long, “mini” band camp on Sept. 8 many elementary and high school level band members were introduced to marching band methods.
Drum majors Wendy Gillis and Holly Long assisted the guest instructor Bob Thomas to teach the band how to march. Gary Moritz, from the United States Marine Band in Quantico taught Drum Line cadences to eager percussionists.
Jenna Dickerson , color guard coach dedicated her time to encourage the Color Guard to learn new and exciting routines!
