A book autographing held Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Janies P. Jamieson near Sperryville proved to be very successful for the author as well as the Rappahannock County Library which was benefited. A country club brunch which included Rappahannock fried apples and lots of other dishes were enjoyed. The book signing was by Jane McClary, the author of “Maggie Royal”.
Home Economics winners at the Culpeper-Madison-Rappahannock Farm Show in late July were Sherri KidweU and her sister, Jane Kidwell. Sherri won second place with her insect collection and Jane placed second in her division with a charcoal sketch.
