It seems that the pervasive attitude is to put up with agriculture and natives as long as it does not compromise aesthetics or inconvenience our newly acquired neighbors. There is nothing inconsistent with a silo in rural area, in fact it is a permitted structure and use with no height restrictions, the difference is, you know it is a cell tower.
Present day silos no longer have huge bams attached to them. Two story bams are not currently built due to cost prohibitions and functional obsolescence.
