6 to 7 p.m. The PAC provides the opportunity to meet other RCHS parents, and to get to know the principal of your child’s school.

Mr. Joe Perine, Principal, enjoys speaking candidly about a variety of subjects and welcomes questions. Please plan to attend. If you have a specific topic you would like addressed, please feel free to call Mr. Perine at 987-8575, or Jan Makela at 937-5718.

• The Headwaters MiniGrant Committee recently interviewed many teachers in our school system. Headwaters- the Rappahannock County Public Education Foundation offers grants of up to $1000 to teachers who request funding for a variety of creative activities. Once the application is submitted teachers are asked to sit through a short personal interview where they discuss their requests in greater detail and answer additional questions. We are always over-joyed by the number and variety of the requests, and the dedication of teachers who take the time to plan the activity and go through the application process.

Headwaters is one group that is truly making a difference in our public schools. We are grateful for their presence and positive influence. Grants
