She was marned to the late Joseph Randolph Devers. Mrs. Devers was preceded in death by six brothers; four sisters and three infant great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Matthew and Michael Wayland. She was the last of her immediate family.
Surviving are a daughter, Margaret Ann Wayland and her husband, James of Sperryville: a son, James W. “Buddy" Devers and his wife, Bonnie of Front Royal; grandchildren, James Gregory Wayland and wife Teresa of Sperryville, Anthony Randolph Wayland and wife, Deanna of Sperryville, James W. Devers Jr. of Front Royal, Pamela K. Hibbs and husband, Kelly of Front Royal, Dana M. Pullen and husband Michael of Front Royal and Jon A. Devers of Front Royal; great-grandchildren, Zackariah G. Wayland, Seth Joseph Wayland, Derrick Hiserman and Danielle Hiserman, all of Sperryville, Matthew A. Devers, Lindsey Pullen, Erin Hibbs and Logan Hibbs, all of Front Royal.
Pallbearers were Charles K. Estes II, Julian Brown, Carson Johnson, Dr. Walter Kilby, Bobby Wilson Atkins and Rodney Vest.
