Question: Do you support the reciting of the pledge to the American flag and the moment of silence in school?
Louderback: “I fully support the pledge being recited each day and am in support of the moment of silence. This does not infringe on any religion. I have found that many students do not know the pledge to the flag, the national anthem, or God Bless America. Many who are out of school do not even know these, I think this is sad.”
Pollack: “Yes. I would not change that program.”
Question: What are your views on cellular towers coming into Rappahannock?
Louderback: “I support the towers but am not in favor of the service that they are providing the county. They are serving the traveling public and not the county public. I think that the county police, fire and rescue should be top priority.”
Pollack: “I really don’t like their coming but the state should not get involved.”
