Rev. and Mrs. Jennings W. Hobson III of Washington just welcomed a new “son”, Komei Nakamura, a Youth For Understanding (YFU) International Exchange student from Japan. Komei Nakamura, who will be a student at Rappahannock County High School will live with the Hobson III family for the academic year.
As a member of the Hobson III family, Komei will participate in all family activities, from vacations to household chores. While sharing the culture of Japan with his host family and schoolmates, he will learn about U.S. culture.
