Uterine cancer
This cancer generally attacks the lining of the uterus, and the highest incidence of the disease occurs in women who are near menopause.
“When a woman near menopause bleeds, she needs to have it checked,” Bell said. “Uterine cancer usually causes bleeding early, before it spreads.”
A slow-growing cancer, the way to treat it is by a hysterectomy, which involves the removal of the ovaries.
“The rate of cure is around 90 percent,” Bell said, “because the cancer doesn’t get to the lymph nodes. It’s good in that it causes bleeding early, but it
