Uterine cancer
This cancer generally attacks the lining of the uterus, and the highest incidence of the disease occurs in women who are near menopause.
“When a woman near menopause bleeds, she needs to have it checked,” Bell said. “Uterine cancer usually causes bleeding early, before it spreads.”
A slow-growing cancer, the way to treat it is by a hysterectomy, which involves the removal of the ovaries.
