Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Friday. Oct. 5 with friends and relatives at their home on Fodderstack Road.
Best wishes to Junior and Michelle Jenkins of Flint Hill, who have a wedding anniversary on Thursday, Oct. 11.
Sympathy is extended to Mary Fletcher and son, Mike on the death of their husband and father, Wade Hampton Fletcher. Mr. Fletcher died Tuesday, Oct. 2 at Fauquier Hospital. He will long be remembered for his hard work and kindness to all.
Funeral services were conducted this past Tuesday at Promise Land Baptist Church. Our sincere sympathy to Mary and Mike.

Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Frazier of Castleton and Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark were guests of their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Carroll in Powhatan from Tuesday until Thursday. They also visited with Leo Howell Jr. of Midlothian Pike.
Happy birthday to Mrs. Deborah Flinchum of Viewtown, who has her day on Sunday, Oct. 14. Mrs. Flinchum is a first grade teacher at Rappahannock County Elementary School.
On Saturday, Oct. 13 the Washington Baptist Church will have a Colonial Christmas fund raiser at the annual Amissville Fall Festival from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Donations of bake goods and small flea market items are needed. Volunteers are also needed to set up to sell during the day.
The Junior High Youth of the Washington Baptist Church will leave at 2 p.m. from the Rappahannock High School on Friday, Oct. 12 for a weekend at Eagle Eyrie in Lynchburg.
