Margaret E. Devers, 89, of Sperryville died Monday, Oct. 1 in the Culpeper Regional Hospital.
Funeral services were held on Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Sperryville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Merlin Shorb officiating. Burial followed in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Front Royal.
Mrs. Devers was born April 5, 1912, in Rappahannock County, daughter of James A. and Ella Hyde Estes. She w'as a member of the Sperryville United Methodist Church for 79 years.
