in aaaiuon 10 nis motner, survivors include two daughters, Doris Sutphin and her husband, David, both of Remington and Betty Whorton and her husband, Buddy, both of Rixeyville and a son, James Whitmer and his wife, Beth of Bowling Green.
Additional survivors .include three sisters, Mary Ann Woodward of Orange, Virginia Hitt of Elkwood and Mildred Mae Smith of Remington and five brothers, Floyd “Buddy” Haines and William E. Haines, both of Remington, Richard Haines and John Haines Jr., both of Brandy Station and Elmer Haines of Culpeper.
He is also survived by five grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
In addition to his father, he was also predeceased by his wife, Jennie Lee Putman Haynes, a brother, Russell Thomas Haines, one sister, Rosemary Haines and a halfsister, Beulah Southard.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, Oct. 6 at Maranatha Baptist Church in Amissville with Pastor Albert Payne and Pastor Michael Garland officiating.
Interment followed in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
