Following are questions proposed to Allen Louderback and Brad Pollack concerning issues relating to Rappahannock County.
Delegate Allen Louderback serves the 15th District and is the Republican candidate seeking re-election on Nov. 6.
Brad Pollack is the Independent running for Virginia House of Delegates.
There is not a Democratic candidate for the seat from the 15th District.
Question: Do you approve of Governor Gilmore’s car tax program and what do you see in the future for this program?
Louderback: “If the state revenue stays at current level as it is now the program will not be fully implemented this year. If the state revenue returns to last year’s level then the program will be fully implemented. I do approve of the program with the tax base still being applied to vehicles valued over $20,000.”
Pollack: “I do not approve of the program. I think the program is dead. It will remain as is at best. The Governor needs to reveal the condition of Virginia’s financial status.”
