Pollack: “I oppose such a bill and it should not apply state wide.”

Question: What do you think of the land application bill that allows others districts to send their sludge into other counties, as Rappahannock is experiencing now?

Louderback: “This is a state mandate and I am not in favor of mandates. Those who manage the program need to verify containment, study the effect of water sources such as streams. This is another bill that the state is looking at for change.”
