Brentsville game and led 9-4 at the half. Brentsville went on a 17-0 run into the fourth quarter to take a 17-9 lead and then held off a rally by the Panthers to secure the win. Dani Siccardi, Courtney Hutcheson and Jami Jacobs paced the team in scoring.
The varsity girls' basketball team dropped two games for the week to see their record fall to 0-13. The team w’as outscored 81-30 by Strasburg and 61-25 by Brentsville District. The team, on two baskets by Brittany Thornhill and one by Hope Jacobs, took a 6-5 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Tigers then w ent on a 150 second quarter run to take a 20-6 halftime lead. A fourth quarter rally led by Rachael Jacobs, Rachel Gall and Ryisha Cook proved to be to little to late for the Panthers. Ryisha Cook had 12 points in the Strasburg game for the Lady Panthers.
