Come enjoy the autumn season at Smokehouse Winery’s annual Harvest Celebration on Saturday, Oct. 12 and Sunday, Oct. 13 from noon to 6 p.m.
Taste several unique Meads as well as seasonal hard cider and local gourmet goods. Try Traditional Mead (made with local honey), Honeysuckle Metheglin (mead flavored with honeysuckle flowers), Juniper Berry Metheglin (Mead flavored with Juniper Berries), Berry Melomel (Mead flavored with local berries) and seasonal Crabapple Hard Cider.
A $12 fee includes tastings, glass of mead, a souvenir wine glass, gourmet foods and an eclectic music lineup including Vector (fusion/jazz) and Brooke Parkhurst (folk-banjo) on Saturday and Ben Mason (keyboards) and friends on Sunday.

Flea market set
for benefit walk
Teams for the 2003 Relay for Life Cancer Walk will hold a flea market at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.
