• Melinda Hancock, Executive Director of the Culpeper Regional Hospital Foundation, spoke to the Board about the organization's plans to improve Culpeper Hospital facilities and services. She said that the Foundation has a $7.5M program ($4M has already been raised) to "put three centers ,in two buildings"—a 5,000 square foot Cancer Center and a 5,000 square foot Cardiovascular Center will be located by expanding the present hospital, and a Rehabilitation Center will be built on a five acre site on Business Route 29.
• The Board agreed to County Attorney Peter Luke's request that the next step be taken in the process of delinquent real estate taxes. Mr. Luke noted that the process has been successful, with most of those in arrears having paid
