Word has been received by the family here of the illness of Mr. Dennis Mason of Sumter, S.C. and he will be undergoing major surgery at a Charlotte, N.C. hospital. He is the son-in-law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Corbin and prayers are requested for his recovery.
Quite a large number were in attendance for Culpeper Harvest Days Farm Tour which was held during the weekend; with thousands of people traveling throughout the county; visiting buffalo, rabbit and goat farms; Christmas tree farms; and seeing the pumpkins fields on Sunnyside Farm. This was the fifth annual farm tour that Culpeper has had and it sure was an enjoyable weekend.
We are glad to report to her many friends, that Mrs. Rosie Wharton of Aaron Mountain Road, has improved and was able to be in church recently.
The Reva Volunteer Fire and Rescue held their fall festival on Saturday with a great crowd in attendance. The hall was filled with tables upon which the vendors displayed their many craft items; most of them beautiful to look upon and one can’t imagine the time consuming and labor those people put into it in order to participate in this fes
