I appreciated Naomi SmootKimble’s
letter last week questioning the wisdom of starting a football program when so many of our present teams are hurting for facilities. I wish all the concerned parties from the county (School Board, Board of Supervisors. Athletic Director, the Head of the Intramural Program, Principals, Boards of the Recreation Leagues) could come together and address the issue of providing adequate facilities.
We don't have a Parks and Rec Department in the county
