Last month I attended a seminar held by the office of the American Lung Association in Richmond.
Tom Ogren. author of "Allergy-Free Gardening” was the speaker and he may have changed my mind about how I will garden from now on.
Ogren started out by admitting that he does not have allergies, and that not so long ago he didn’t even believe in them.
“My wife had had allergies all of her life but I. like many doctors, thought it was all in her head.” said Ogren.
But this former nursery owner and gardening radio talk-show host had a life-altering experience while he was teaching gardening at a youth jail facility.
