Junior Adrianne Moore had 3 of the home team’s goals, with senior Amber Allen and exchange student Yuki Ito each adding one. The boys hosted Broadway High Schools’ soccer team on Saturday, March 16. It was a well-played scrimmage back and forth for most of the early afternoon.
When the final whistle sounded, each team had scored one goal and that’s how it ended. Junior Tony Starks scored for the Rapp side.
Softball
The junior varsity softball team traveled to Fauquier High School on Wednesday, March 13 for a late day scrimmage with the JV Lady Falcons. It was a good game as both coaches shuffled players throughout various positions in their lineups.
The Lady Panthers scored early and led 5 to 1 after 3}j9 innings. Fauquier scored 6 in the bottom of the 4th to go ahead, but the JV girls stormed back in the 5th, 6th, and 7th innings with two runs in each. At the end of 7, the score was tied 11 to 11.
