Moonlight hike planned
The following activity has been organized through the Ragged Mountain Resource Center. For additional information call Director Hunt Harris at 987-3366.
•Tuesday, March 26: Moonlight hike of Old Rag mountain. Meet at upper lot for Old Rag on Nethers side between 6:307 p.m. Bring nourishment for self and layerable clothing. Return: ? Level. Moderate to difficult...not for wimps.
Team captains to meet
The next meeting of Relay for Life team captains takes place on March 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Washington Baptist Church. While team registration will continue until the day of the Relay, those team captains who register their teams by this meeting will receive an incentive prize.
If you have not yet picked up your team packages, team packages can be picked up at Settles in Flint Hill or the Office of the Commissioner of Revenue in Washington. Easter goodies available
The Spiritual Walkers of Promise Land Baptist Church will be taking orders for homemade Easter cakes, cookies and cupcakes. This is a fund raiser for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Ki Theatre to present plays
The Ki Theatre is presenting “Creating a Scene, Ten Minute Plays” on Saturday, April 6 at 8 p.m. The five, more or less, plays range from the sublime to the absurd. The always creative and always rotating actors in the Ki Theatre roster of Ideal talents include Peter Hornbostel, Janet Davis, Joyce Abell, Lyt Wood, Mike Mahoney, Dave Hilty and Sallie Morgan.
Betsy Toth will be directing as well as making her brief but hilarious acting debut. Don’t miss it! Tickets are $10 and reservations may be made by calling 675-1616.
Production planned
The Culpeper United Methodist Church will present the fifth annual production of He’s Alive! on Sunday. March 24 at 8:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and at 7 p.m. The production will depict the birth, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. Admission is free with a love offering accepted. Groups are welcome. Once seats are full the doors are closed, so come early. Babysitting will be provided for small children.
